Melissa Banko started Banko Design in a spare bedroom in 2014 and built it into a multi-brand organization serving senior living, multifamily, and private club clients across the country. But along the way, she learned that bigger isn't always better. Melissa, founder of Banko Design and CEO of BD Studio Collection, joins Jack Pitts to talk about entrepreneurship, leadership, acquisitions, and what it really takes to build a sustainable business. They discuss how she found her first clients, built her team, acquired other design firms, and eventually realized that growth doesn't always mean success.
